Angela Chambliss

Over the past decade, Angela Chambliss has been the strategic leader of Influencer Marketing at Best Buy, which began in 2008 as the Blogger Network. Recently Angela began leading Experiential Marketing, which is brought to life throughout the U.S. Through these connected channels she has created leading innovative experiential programs by building authentic relationships, content, produced events and built online and offline communities, all leading to increased brand consideration, awareness and brand love. 

Chambliss views this work as the nexus between consumer PR and social media, engaging with customers on the cutting edge of communications innovation.  She believes that building genuine relationships with customers generates deep insights which in turn lead to developing better customer solutions, brand consideration and business growth.

Prior her current role Chambliss was Director for Best Buy’s Women’s Leadership Forum (WOLF), joining the WOLF team in February 2008.  Her role included leading strategy for marketing to women through nontraditional formats while creating awareness and driving global opportunity for women at all levels. She built business strategies to better serve female customers which included leading programs such as consumer Innovation and consumer Blogging. She was also responsible for the communication of results, finance and the respective P&L. 

In Chambliss’ former role at Best Buy as Deployment Project Manager she was responsible for managing store remodels. 

Previous to that she worked on the Best Buy Mobile Team in inventory where she was responsible for millions of dollars of inventory and in stocks across the US. 

Before coming to Best Buy in 2004, she served as an intern in the College Internship program in 2003. 

Chambliss built a foundation of giving back to her community with her role as Chair of the City of Cottage Grove Public Safety Commission in which she volunteered from 2009-2012. Chambliss ran for public office, 2011 election year, and prior to her council run she completed “debate” training. She was selected to serve as the Corporate Council Chair for the White House Project on behalf of Best Buy and in 2012.  She was nominated to be a Best Buy Winning Culture facilitator earning certification by Senn Delaney in 2012 and currently serves as the Director Sponsor for the Marketing Engagement Committees.

Chambliss completed her Bachelors of Science degree at University of St.Catherine where she earned a double major Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management and Marketing. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, set to graduate in 2019.
