Sara Walsh

A native of Tampa Bay, Sara Walsh began her career in sports as a reporter with Jacksonville Beach’s Beaches Leader newspaper and later served as sports director at WPGA and radio host at WKRN in Nashville, where she co-hosted a weekly talk show with then-Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher and defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth. She later held similar responsibilities for a Washington, D.C.-based radio station before being hired by ESPN in 2010.

Walsh worked seven years for the network, primarily as a host of SportsCenter. Most recently Sara served as a sideline reporter for Fox NFL Sunday Coverage.  A former collegiate soccer player at the University of North Florida, Walsh is married to former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Buschmann, with whom she had twins in February 2017.
